Q:Does AFF hold meetings for the general public to attend?
A: YES! We encourage anyone interested in our mission to attend our monthly volunteer meetings which are held on the first Monday of each month at the Millville Public Library at 7pm. Their address is 210 Buck Street.
Q: Does AFF have regular business hours?
A: Unfortunately we do not maintain any set hours of operation due to the fact that everyone is strictly working as a volunteer and we all hold “day jobs”.We have voicemail in the event no one is able to take your call right away and generally we return calls within 24-72hrs.
Q: I have pets and or strays that I can no longer care for. Does AFF do fostering or can homes be found for my pets?
A:AFF does not do any fostering nor do we operate a shelter, but some of our members do this on their own independently. We suggest you come to one of our monthly volunteer meetings and meet some of our members to discuss this particular need.
Q: I would like to help with the Trap, Neuter and Release (TNR) program, but I do nothave any traps. What can I do?
A: AFF has a limited number of humane traps we can rent to you. They are available with a $25 security deposit. We ask for a dollar per day donation during the rental period. We have brochures available that will give you step by step instructions on everything from operating the trap to maintaining the colonies.
Q: I would like to become a member and volunteer my time. How do I go about joining AFF?
A: You can come to monthly meetings at the Millville Library or you can call us at 856-503-5572.
